Embedding Node.js into a High-performance Network Datapath

Hi all.  Hope you've been enjoying this nice spring weather.

We'd like to welcome everyone out for our next meetup in Boulder at Pellucid Analytics on Pearl St.  We've got a really exciting topic about some interesting techniques to modify Node.js for perfomance increase:

Manish Vachharajani will be giving a talk that he gave at NodeSummit in December 2013.  The talk covers how he and his team modified Node.js so that they could embed it into their C++ datapath which can handle over 200,000 TCP session per second on a single 2 socket server.

And as always, we'll be there and would love to hear any feedback about the meetup that you may have as well as just generally get to meet you.  Refreshments will be provided and we hope you all can come out.

Quick Bio:

Manish Vachharajani is a Senior Architect at F5 Networks focused on the LineRate product and integration of LineRate technology in F5′s products. Manish came to F5 through the acquisition of LineRate Systems, a software networking company, where Manish served as Founder, CTO, and later Chief Architect. Prior to founding LineRate Systems, Manish spent a decade studying software performance. His work has been recognized by best paper awards and support from leading technology companies.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to get a recording. Camera died. Who's interested in this talk in Denver?

This sounds like an asolutely excellent talk. I am so sad that it is in Boulder as I can't make it there after work.
