Join us at our next Non-Gaming XR meetup for presentations, discussion, demos, and networking centered around exploring how immersive technologies are being applied to the construction, architecture and engineering industries.
During the presentations, we'll learn from leading companies as they share best enterprise use cases and share how VR/AR above other technologies are providing the best solutions for the growing needs of the AEC market.
**Tickets are required for entry. Please purchase tickets here:**
LORI-LEE ELLIOTT, INEIGHT

DAMON HERNANDEZ, SAMUNG RESEARCH OF AMERICA, AEC HACKATHON
Damon works in many areas of the Web3D Industry and has been active in virtual environments and the 3D web for almost 20 years. He is currently at Samsung Research America making the web browsing experience awesome and enhanced with immersive web technologies. He is also a co-founder of IDEAbuilder, a high tech building company that uses immersive technologies and robotic manufacturing to build more efficiently. As founding team member of the Augmented Reality Developer Camps, VR Hackathon, and founder of the AEC Hackathon, he is actively working to help grow the use of innovative technologies.
BART DENNY, CO-FOUNDER @ SPATIALFIRST
Bart has 18 years of entrepreneurial experience at the intersection of maps, mobile devices and local services. He's founder of three companies, most recently SpatialFirst; in between startups he spent time building partnerships for Google Maps.
BEN HOLFED, ACCENTURE
Ben brings business and technology innovation to clients of Accenture. Currently his main focus areas are Augmented Reality and Artificial Intelligence for which he is working on innovative showcases and demos (that's how he got the nick name: "Dr.Demo")
He holds a Master of Science in Applied Physics from University of Texas at Austin, as well as an MBA from Collège des Ingénieurs in Paris, France.
DAVE ALPERT, CEO @ GEOPOGO
3D made simple. Geopogo develops faster and easier 3D design software to revolutionize the design process and expand the 3D market to embrace many more creators. Designers can import 3D construction drawing models from Autodesk Revit to rapidly add lighting, furniture, finish materials, colors, and particle effects on PC and in VR. Design-from-scratch option coming soon!
GABRIELE SORRENTO, CEO @ MindDesk VR
Mindesk is the first VR platform natively integrated with CAD software. Designers can review, edit, create 3D models as well as collaborate with teammates & engage with customers. It works with Rhinoceros, Grasshopper, SolidWorks and soon will support Unreal Editor, for a photorealistic 3D modeling experience. Mindesk is a transversal tool that can help to manage complex design, have more inclusive and effective design review sessions, reverse engineer a points cloud scan, create organic shapes, all without leaving the designer's current CAD solution,
TONY VALDERRAMA, CTO @ CLARVOYANT
Clarvoyant is commercializing a suite of multi-platform, AR/VR compatible, instant holographic prototyping and collaboration tools originally built at NASA / JPL to enable early-stage spacecraft design. We're democratizing access to 3D designs and data, because you make better products when your entire team - engineers, customers, operators, salespeople, mechanics, executives, designers - can participate in and benefit from the creative process.
