What did you/are you studying in college?

I received my AA in Science, BA in religion, MA in English Literature, and did additional graduate work in English Literature.

What are your favorite non-fiction books you have read?

Rubenstein's Aristotle's Children, Bloom's Lucifer Principle, Wright's NonZero and The Evolution of God, Wilson's Soc Conquest of Earth, Durant's Lessons from History, Muller's The Uses of the Past, Conrad's Lord Jim, Kissinger's On China, Hecht's Doubt, Phillip's American Theocracy, Hedge's American Fascists, Brinton's A Short History of Nearly Everything, Miller's Finding Darwin's God, Friedman's Who Wrote the Bible?, Haidt's The Righteous Mind, and so many more.

What kind of books would you be interested in having the group read together?

I am up for any quality book with great insights.

What area of DC/ time of the week would you most likely be available to attend a discussion?

I am flexible, but much prefer locations near the metro.

Tell us a little more about yourself.

I am a former teacher and a retired real estate agent. Science and religion are my prime interests but I love philosophy, international relations, sociology and psychology, especially the nature of the mind and consciousness.

Retired with plenty of time to read. Great interest in science, philosophy, history, politics. I have a great sense of humor, mainly in order to undermind my own self-righteousness. I like to be a little provactive for the joy of exploration.
