Secret #1 First Meeting Shhhh... It's all about Microblading

HOOVER PUBLIC LIBRARY

MICROBLADING
This is our first meeting!
To begin you will find the meeting room at the Hoover Public Library in the lower level. Down the stairs is the Theatre Conference room where we meet. On the door will be posted Beautiful Friends- I'll greet you with a smile. Bring a notebook to take notes about our First Secret. Shhhh... it's all about Microblading. I'll be discussing this first topic and my experience having the procedure done in Nashville. Not to give too much away but can anyone say 'Angry Birds"! LOL.
Please be 5 minutes early so that before the meeting begins we will break into groups of two for the first activity.
Our meetings will begin with a moment of silence while we silently observe the other person in our group of two, while facing each other. When the moment passes you will each tell the person you observed one authentic compliment. We are after all, in this group to support and lift up one another.
And then we will all be seated. You can bring a bottled drink with a cap if you'd like but no other snacks are allowed by the library.
Next, we will each take a turn introducing ourselves and sharing what our top three favorite nonsurgical cosmetic procedures are - these can be procedures you've had recently and want to mention briefly with the group or perhaps they are on your wish list. This group project will be limited in time so that each person can briefly (within about 5 minutes) discuss the procedure but it won't be the "main event" that comes a little later. I'll be writing these favorites down on a large tablet with a bold permanent marker with hash marks for repeat favorites. We will keep a collective ongoing Top 10 List of favorite procedures over the course of our meetings. Let's also track the cost of each of these favorites.
It's exciting isn't it? These procedures are no longer secret! Maybe by telling your story, you have helped someone in the group who had no idea what that procedure cost, or what it could do or where to go to get it done. This top TOP 10 List of favorites are the very procedures that help the most, possibly cost the least, with the most positive results. Some day I will tell you about my nonsurgical nose job! IF I only knew sooner...
After the above sharing event as a group we will highlight one group members experience and a procedure in detail. This will be the main event of the evening and should last about 30 minutes in length altogether. The nonsurgical cosmetic procedure will be predetermined a month or two ahead and discussion given by a volunteer member of the group. Please consider volunteering for this more lengthy discussion at least once a year. It will take planning and preparation with use of the equipment provided in our room. More about the equipment provided after our first meeting.
Because this is our first meeting I will be going first. I will talk for a total of 30 minutes about my microblading experience in Nashville, what microblading is, what to expect, how long the procedure took, what healing looked like, how long until I was able to be back out in public/at work, the cost, follow-up and my results. In addition, I will rate this procedure on a scale of 1-10 and also rate the provider on a scale of 1-10. I will upload the pictures for our first meeting to this site of my before and after shots. That might be easier then trying to figure out the equipment for this first meeting. Additional pictures will either be uploaded closer to meeting time or I will bring my laptop to show you. That's all I will say here about it because I don't want to spoil the discussion!
Anyway, this Friday (January 10, 2020), I am having my very first Dysport injections. As you probably know Dysport is the sexy, thinner (literally), cheaper cousin of Botox. It's supposed to be amazing. I'll be taking great before and after pics to share another day. :)
I'm very excited to meet you all and start this warm, welcoming support group of friends!
Kindest regards,
Margee
