  • The speaker this month will be Molly Liechty

In this follow-up talk to her November 2016 talk on Automation and Public Policy, we will explore the science of human/automation interaction and its future influence on the laws that may affect us. This talk will focus on autonomous vehicles, drones, and robotics and how what we know about the automation behind them can help us to reshape public policy.

Molly Liechty is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Human FactorsPsychology at Old Dominion University. Her dissertation explores human-automation interaction and performance with multi-modal systems. Many of her interests focus on public policy and exploring ways in which research on robotics and automation can affect laws and leadership.
