Hi painters!

This is a great event, unfortunately we'll have to cancel this meetup. The Executive Director at Pepperwood Preserve contacted me directly and is completely unaware of our group visit. They mentioned this is quite a Huge Event with over 800 in attendance. We love and encourage our members to find new venues and locations to paintout, but Please Remember to always call that location ahead of time and get a confirmation that our group can be on location.

Sometimes there are waivers that need to be signed and sometimes there are orientations, personally given by the owners/ wineries/ parks. The Executive Director has suggested we reschedule for another date. They are thrilled we chose there Preserve location and look forward to meeting us and to see all our beautiful paintings!

Cheers,

Hi Gerald and painters,
If you are looking for a good place to paint, let me suggest Ferry Point in the Miller Knox Regional Shoreline, Point Richmond. There's lots of level space to set up, bathrooms, water, a picturesque view of an old non-functioning Ferry terminal that is now used for fishing. It has been historically preserved so you can walk out on it. Behind it are beautiful views of Mt. Tam, Angel Island, the Golden Gate Bridge, the Bay Bridge, lots of sailboats, the Long Wharf with giant tanker ships, tugboats motoring by, walkers, the whole nine yards. And we do not need a reservation because it is so large that there is lots of room for everyone.

We've done Ferry Point before, one of our first locations actually. We will definitely get around to doing some Contra Costa locations this year. I think we are due for some paintouts in the East Bay and Solano counties.
