Park Volunteer Work Day - Weekly

This weekly weekday Volunteer Work Day is a great way to get to know the Museum and Park. Projects typically include removing invasive plant species, pruning, planting, and propagating plants, cleaning our water pools around the West Building, spreading mulch, and other outside activities. As an added bonus, we have long time park volunteers and park guides that provide site history and education on landscape types/designs and sculpture throughout the Work Day.

An orientation (day of) on how to do Park projects will be provided to anyone interested in joining us for these work days! We also have tools available for use, if you don't have your own. We recommend wearing weather appropriate clothing, bring a hat, wear closed toe shoes, and bring your favorite pair of work gloves. Please email with any questions.
