Upcoming events (3)
This will be our first in-person meeting! We are planning to meet outdoors at Stone Escondido, but things may change based on availability. We will keep you up to date.
For May, we will be reading The Invisible Life of Addie Larue by V. E. Schwab
Synopsis: France, 1714: in a moment of desperation, a young woman makes a Faustian bargain to live forever―and is cursed to be forgotten by everyone she meets.
Thus begins the extraordinary life of Addie LaRue, and a dazzling adventure that will play out across centuries and continents, across history and art, as a young woman learns how far she will go to leave her mark on the world.
But everything changes when, after nearly 300 years, Addie stumbles across a young man in a hidden bookstore and he remembers her name.

This prize is given out each July. I thought it would be fun to either read a previous winner (as the prompt says) or read one of the nominees for this year's prize. Below you will find the list of previous winners as well as the list of nominees for this year.

***A book that has won the Women's Prize for Fiction***
Please submit your nomination and cast all final votes by the end of this scheduled event. Once the event is over, the nomination will be closed.
We will be using the dot voting method, and each participant will have 3 dots to vote with. You may put all 3 into your favored choice, split them 2/1 for top two, or select top 3 choices 1/1/1/. The nomination with the most collective dots at the end will be the selection.
