Make Straw BOB Kits (Medical, Trapping, Fishing) - Everything Provided

Should we take it LIGHTLY? Definitely YES!!
Does your BOB feel like a boulder on your back?
One day you may rely HEAVILY on your bag but it should be TIGHT & LIGHT.
Have you reorganized your BOB 10 times & still can’t find something when you want it? (You should practice being able to get what you need quickly.)
Having spent 2 weeks a year for 5 years living out of my backpack on medical mission trips in a 3rd world country without running water or electricity has taught me a lot.
The typical, bulky, BOB backpack seems like it’s all bag and no substance!
Kind of like a hamburger that’s all bread and NO MEAT. We’ll change that.
This class WILL teach you some tricks for putting a bug-out-bag together using some unconventional tricks I’ve learned over the years.
Quick, simple, and practical.
That’s how the BOB SHOULD be.
That’s how it WILL be.
On display will be a bug out bag I’ve designed and put together.
Let’s get together and get some serious work and planning done.
What you’ll learn in this class will enable you to put a BOB together at minimal cost.
This will be a hands-on, DIY class so you practice till you get it right.
ALL SUPPLIES PROVIVED: You’ll be provided with everything you need to make & take the following items home.
10 assorted individual, sealed medicinal straw tubes
5- Reusable straw kits to put what you want in them
3- Rehydration salt tubes (we’ll make homemade rehydration salts used in the mission field.)
1- Complete straw wound kit
1- Complete straw fishing kit
2- Fire starter straws
1-Snare kit

If you choose (I will have extra straws and Mylars) you can bring your own items to make additional mini-survival kits: personal kits, tiny medicine packs (pills, ointments), sewing kits, salt, sugar, coffee, suntan lotion, anything you might need to get yourself back home in a SHTF situation or stuck in the wilderness for a week.
Class will be held in Oceanside. Maximum of 12 people so we can focus. I will need an actual email (not the meetup email) so I can attach files and send you notices as the meetup email does not allow attachments. Send to: [masked]
This will be a long class (3-4HRS.) so plan accordingly, BEFORE you sign-up, check your schedules.
There is a $35 fee for this class which will cover all supplies for what will be made in class and a DVD filled with everything you can think of that covers all areas of prepping (recipes for cooking w/ food storage, gardening tech, homemade solar, homesteading, manuals, videos, tons of do-it-yourself, trapping, shelters, guides, farming, medical, water, stoves, sanitation, warfare, too much to list including a food storage chart & calculator that will tell you how much of each food item you will need for 1 yr. You just plug in how many adult males, females and number of children then it calculates.
Survival Preparedness classes are monitored for last minute drop-outs and no shows which may affect any future classes you sign-up for.

Bring clean pill bottles if you have them w/o labels for another BOB technique I'm working on for cars. You can make those if you have time.
Bring personal meds/special items you'd like to minibobsize.
Bring yr. BOB for a before class weigh-in.
    Bring drinking water/snack (to eat).

I will have some of my fav. items for purchase if you so desire.
