Organizers:

Fred Arzola

Fernando “Fred” Arzola Jr. is a recent New York City transplant to San Diego. A poetry enthusiast, he was a member of River River Writer’s Circle in the Lower Hudson Valley Region of New York. Pablo Neruda is his favorite poet. Fred has published five books, including a book of poems under his pseudonym. He received his Ph.D. from Fordham University.

Aida Dennehy

Aida writes novels in her spare time. She is the first recipient of the Chet Cunningham Spur Award for her yet unpublished novel, In the Shadow of the Prophet. Aida came to the group looking for an excuse to write and found a wonderful network of support and encouragement. Every meeting reminds her that no matter what job is paying the bills, Ishe is, at heart, a writer.
