After a narrow defeat in the 11th hour last month, "In Cold Blood" by Truman Capote claims victory as the book for our April 13th meeting! Suggested by Arli. If you would like to purchase the book through TBCCS (The Book Carriage and Coffee Shop) please post a comment below by Saturday March 1st so we can allow TBCCS enough time to have the book ready to be picked up by our March 9th meeting. I'll find out how much the book will cost later today. Also, if you would like to bring refreshments please comment below.

This is Goodreads quote of the day for April 14:

The village of Holcomb stands on the high wheat plains of western Kansas, a lonesome area that other Kansans call “out there.

    Truman Capote

Not long after midnight on April 14, 1965, the murderers depicted in Truman Capote's true-crime book, In Cold Blood, were executed. The writer was in attendance.
