We are a group of people from the Wrexham and surrounding districts who meet up regularly at events ranging from eating out, walking, theatre and cinema visits, weekends away, quizzes, dances, county shows, etc.
We always encourage members to discuss and comment on events as we wish to provide the very best activities for members’ pleasure and enjoyment. We also encourage members to organise and host suitable meet up events by filling in the on screen form.
We do need to point out that insulting or defamatory remarks directed towards another member is unacceptable behaviour in any form and will not be tolerated. In such an event, membership may be withdrawn. We also draw your attention to the Meetup Terms of Service Agreement on the home page.
Our requirements for membership:
1 You must have your own profile, with some general information about yourself,(where you live, why you want to join the group etc.) Your profile should not promote your own or anyone else's business interests.
2 We would prefer a recent head and shoulders photo, which only shows yourself, clearly showing your face, so that you may be easily recognised by members who are hosting or attending events.
3 Payments will be expected promptly when due, whether membership, annual fees or paying for an event. Your initial membership payment must be made within one month of joining. Failure to do so will require you to apply again. The membership year will run from 1st March to the last day of February the following year, regardless of when you join. The membership fee is non-refundable.
N.B. When you apply for membership, it will appear that you have been accepted but you will not be able to access the site fully until your application has been approved, which will only take place when your profile is complete.
PLEASE NOTE THAT IF A MEMBER CEASES TO COMPLY WITH THE MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS, THEIR MEMBERSHIP WILL BE REVIEWED.

Please consider that if you book an event and are unable to attend then you should change your RSVP to that effect, particularly where numbers are limited so that another member may take your place. This is not only considered good manners but it saves the organiser from looking out for you at the event.
