Join us Wednesdays weekly at 6:30pm for a beautiful form of Zen meditation practice called "Sanbo Zen." The purpose of our practice is to follow the footsteps of Shakyamuni through correct zazen practice and to realize our true nature which is infinite and absolute; furthermore, we aim to eradicate our attachment to enlightenment as such and keep making endless efforts to let our true self manifest itself in our personality and daily life. Practice consists of sitting and walking meditation, chants, dharma discussions, and monthly dharma talks with Valerie Forstman, Roshi, of the Maria Kannon Zen Center. Beginners welcome; come at 6:15 for instruction. $10 Donations most appreciated. Sitting cushions and chairs are provided.
