What we're about

Bored Running Around in Circles?

We are a running/walking group of all ages and capabilities who enjoy keeping fit and exploring the countryside. There is no need to 'book in' just turn up, introduce yourself and we’ll help you to follow the trail that has been laid. Dogs and children are very welcome. After the run, we will end up in a pub and socialise.

Our trails cater for all ages and all capabilities and should take about an hour to complete (approximately 5-7km). Details for the next few trails are available on the website http://www.nh4.org . We meet at a different location in and around Hampshire and Surrey every Sunday, starting at 11.00hrs in winter and 18.00hrs in summer.

Other social events are organised throughout the year, in addition to the weekly run, including weekends away and a Christmas dinner dance. We also hook up with other running groups, for joint runs. We are part of the worldwide Hash House Harrier group.
What should I bring? Bring comfortable running gear or a pair of walking boots. A change of clothes (or at least shoes/socks) is sometimes a good idea.

Trail from the Maultway, Camberley.

Maultway North

Our trail on Sunday the 23rd February will start from the Maultway, near Camberley. A mainly wooded area with many paths allowing for an interesting trail. See the map and https://what3words.com/gallons.inflamed.river for the exact location. The trail will take about an hour regardless if you are a runner, walker or jogger. We lay a trail in flour or sawdust and by using various clever means, we ensure that almost everyone will take roughly the same time. It is non-competitive. Walkers will follow an abbreviated version of the trail. After the run we will go to a nearby pub and socialise. There is no need to 'book in' just turn up about 10.50, introduce yourself and we’ll help you to follow the trail that has been laid. Bring a change of clothes if you are a runner and a change of shoes if you are a walker. Children and dogs are welcome, but attendees under the age of 18 must have a guardian with them.

Wellington Statue

Our trail on Sunday the 1st March will start from the Wellington Monument car park near Aldershot. A familiar start point for us, but there is great scope for various trails. The statue alone is worth a visit and its history is a remarkable story in itself. See the map and https://what3words.com/area.final.affair for exact place.
