When did you start playing games? Is it a longtime hobby, a renewal, or a new interest?

I've been a gamer since I was a child. Cards, dominoes, board games, it did not matter (did'nt have computers yet). I was one of those geeks that hung out in the commons in college for weekend gaming. I've never lost my love for D&D/social gaming!

What are your current favorite board games? What "new" games are you looking forward to playing?

Love to try new ones but not so much into horror or real intense war gaming. As far as themes, I am not much of a fan of the Lovecraft mythos (don't hate me please!) Don't care for trivia though my head is full of nothing but (I'm old).

What type board games are you most interested in playing (Euro-style, strategy, abstract, trivia, word, party/team) or do you like to play a variety of games? Does this include card, tile, dice, etc? If so, which ones?

I'll try anything once even if I get my tail kicked. In fact, I lose a lot. I play for fun, though I do like to compete. Thanks to Type 2 Diabetes and menopause, my memory isn't what it used to be. I heard a nice poem last week about Memories......crud, I forgot how it went.

Which local and/or online stores get your "Gaming Gold" (aka "your money")? Do you purchase mostly from online sites, local gaming stores, major retail stores, private/individuals or through resale?

Ebay, Walmart, Target, Dragon's Lair, Ettin, Nan's, Amazon, RPGnow.com, my favorites list is full of online shops. My husband will probably beg of you to help with an intervention for my gaming addiction!

BoardGameGeek is a Great online resource for game info! BGG is NOT a store, it is a Resource for info. If you have a profile on BoardGameGeek.com, what is it? If you don't have one, why not go and create it now @ http://www.boardgamegeek.com

I use it extensively to keep up with what games I have and what I have played or given away. Geek ID is "Kytty" though I have been lax in filling out a profile. Isn't profiling supposed to be wrong? :-)
