THERE WILL NOT BE A HOST AT THIS EVENT. WE WILL GO ON OUR OWN. TOURS ARE FROM 9AM-6PM 3/21-3/24/14
While Amelia Island has a rich history itself worth discovery, residents and visitors have an additional attraction to explore at the downtown waterfront March 21-24, 2014.
Two Columbus ships of the famous trio, the Nina and Pinta, are scheduled to sail into historic Fernandina Beach. These floating museums will be available for public tour. The Nina and Pinta will be open for touring from 9 am to 6 pm March 21-24, 2014 at Fernandina Beach Harbor.
One ticket covers self-guided tours of both ships, priced at $8 adults, $6 kids aged 5-16, and kids 4 and under are free (buy tickets upon arrival, look for tent). Groups of 15 or more can schedule a guided tour (special reduced pricing of $5 for groups ages 5 and older, make reservation via their website or call in advance 787-672-2152 to schedule).
They have a good record of arriving in port on schedule (95% success rate, according to their website), but sometimes weather interferes, so check for updates and see more details about The Columbus Foundation and the Nina and Pinta on their website.
