138 Snake Den Road, Ringwood, NJ
Bundle up! We're going to hike Norvin Green State Forest. The trails include Wyanokie High Point, Chikahoki Falls and Otter Hole, and on a clear day you can even get a good view of NYC. This is a 7.7 mile hike. It'll likely take 2 hours or so, but I'm buffering in time in case we go slow. This will also be my first time on this trail so we'll need to go slowly while we follow the map. From the descriptions I've read, there are a few steep inclines on this trail but overall it doesn't sound too difficult. As always we'll go slowly to accommodate slower hikers and offer plenty of breaks. Afterwards we can head somewhere local to warm up with burgers and beers :)
Anyone who would like additional info on the hike can follow this link:
Please bring layered clothes in case you get warm while you hike, plus water and snacks for yourself
