TYPE: Walk & Talk | PACE: 3 mph | TERRAIN: Mostly sidewalk & trail | DIFFICULTY: Easy| DISTANCE: Approx. 3 miles

Walk Description: Come enjoy an evening walk as the sun goes down in Broomfield. It’s a great way to start off the end of the week!

Walking Movement Leader: Peggy is an excited new Walk2Connect leader looking forward to meeting new folks in her neighborhood and getting regular walks in. She is a walker, hiker and crafty gal who will love welcoming you to the walk!

Schedule & Planning: We’ll meet at the Metzger Farm open space parking lot at 122nd and Lowell (east side of Lowell). There is a portable potty available there at the start. We’ll loop through the open space and hook up with the Big Dry Creek trail to bring us back to our start. We will leave no later than 7:05 so please email me if you are going to be late. There will be no walk on 7/4/19.

Welcome Waivers: Please fill out the online “Welcome Waiver” or download, print, sign, and turn in a hard copy if this will be your first Walk2Connect walking experience in 2019.

What to Bring:
-Water, hat, sunscreen, camera, snacks.
-Friendly dogs are welcome – No retractable leashes, please!
-Wear comfortable shoes and clothing, and you may also want to include appropriate rain gear just in case we get a surprise shower.

Cancellation Policy: We only cancel in extreme weather conditions on our path, such as hail or lightning. Walks will be canceled by 5:30 pm so check in with me if you are questioning it.

RSVP: Please use the RSVP feature below to reserve your spot & for future communication. This just lets us know to expect you.

We are excited to explore with you! Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!
