What we're about
I created this group for those of us in our 20's/30's living/working on the north shore to socialise and expand their social networks.
We are a non-profit group, and occasionally may require deposits for certain events, when this happens we will advise you in the first instance.
Due to the fact that I have to pay to run this group and set time aside to organise these meetups, I have set up a couple of rules:
We are generally a non-dating group. This was established so that our members feel that they are able to meet new people and make friends without pressure. However we will not ban members should they start dating as long as both parties are consenting.
If a member RSVP's "yes" to an event and fails to show without notifying the organiser, they will receive a strike. There are three strikes in place, if a member fails to show up three times despite having RSVPD yes, they will be removed from the group.

Our Leadership Team:
Organiser: Sarah - Sarah set this group up back in March 2015 and has been running this group since.
Assistant Organiser: Shannon - Shannon is another one of our regular members who has offered to step in and run meetups in Sarah's absence while she is busy studying. Shannon used to run her own meetup group back in Seattle, so is well experienced to help out :)
Assistant organiser: Kate - Kate joined us as a regular in 2016 and has stepped in to help out with quiz nights each fortnight.
- We currently have a fortnightly pub quiz team/teams going on a Tuesday
- Aside from that we run monthly brunches, dinners and drinks
- We aim to schedule as many random, fun activities as possible (bowling, mini-golf etc etc)
