Every couple of years I come to Texas and do a workshop with drones. The last time was 2016, and a number of NTDUGers attended and participated (and made the workshop a big success, which is why I'm returning).
This year on September 26th I’m doing a series of ~45 minute “hands-on”
demonstrations throughout the day as a part of a 5-station outdoor workshop in a park across from the Waco Convention Center. The purpose is for walking arborists through how you would set up a jobsite to fly for a residential or commercial client, or how to communicate with a pilot how to fly a job site to get the information you are looking for.
Typically there are about 300 attendees. Current schedule is 8:30-AM – 4:00 PM. Lunch will be provided.
WHO: International Society of Arboriculture and Arbor Drone, LLC
WHAT: Outdoor workshop for educating arborists about the process of flying drones for tree assessments
WHERE: Indian Springs Park - across from the Waco Convention Center
The Waco convention center is at 100 Washington Ave,
corner of N University Parks Dr.
