All levels are very welcome. I have a real fascination for the human form and condition, which is infinitely fascinating! There was a serious lack of life drawing in my area and this was one reason for organizing these sessions. I love to meet other artists and the like minded so we can share our passion. I want you to see progression in your work as you practice and develop your skills. I will only suggest approaches, as the model and space may inspire you to do something entirely different.
I can comfortably seat 12 artists and I don’t hover! We can start with short warm up poses, with breaks for refreshments, through to longer more sustained poses.
Please bring your own materials. If you are just starting out, a few pencils 6B, 4B, 2B, H, 2H, soft through to hard and maybe some charcoal (not too thin or it snaps too much!) with a putty rubber, an A4, A3 pad and paper of your choosing.
Available parking is inside the black gates to the left of the building. There is a small split staircase on entering the building.
Tea coffee and biscuits are available for our breaks.
Don’t hesitate to contact me if you would like to ask anything, have a chat or can’t find us!
I would like to ask on behalf of the models, that photographs are not taken during the sessions, or work added to social media.
