What we're about

50 at 50. A small group of like minded friends looking to socialise regularly.

Please read our ETHOS before joining waiting list;

Want to make new friends? 50 years or over? Then come join us for a different experience! Male or Female. single or in a relationship. The Events are going to be held where you can get to chat and socialise, without blaring loud music. Mainly in Local Restaurants. Perhaps Meals, BBqs or Games/Film nights at Hosts Houses. Walks with Pubs lunches. Most events will be no more than 8 - 12 people, and you will find us easily if you are new we will watch out for you or meet you at the door.

The group is run by a committee, comprising of the named organiser, named co-organiser and some of the event organisers. They meet on a regular basis; minutes of the meetings are available on request.

The ETHOS of 50+ is to keep the group small. And to ask you to join in regularly so that you can make friends. So if you are prepared to play YOUR part in making this Group successful by regularly attending events then please join us. The group is going to be restricted to approx 50 members, making it easier to make friends for life, and not be intimidated joining in. Please note the group will be for members only and you will not be able to bring a friend but they are welcome to join seperately.

There is a waiting list so if you don't hear back straight away please be assured we will contact you when a place comes up.

The meetup is for anyone aged 50+ living near to Northampton. However the events are put on by members or myself and it is up to the individuals attending to decide if the event is suitable for them before putting their name down for events
