September Meeting: Speaker Jim Morgenthaler

" Should you use Photoshop or Photoshop Elements? "

Each program has unique features that will be compared and demonstrated with emphasis on new features in both programs including Photoshop CC. To get the highest quality from your images, a step by step process should be followed. This program workflow will be discussed and a two page Elements workflow handout will be given to attendees.

Come with all your Photoshop/Elements questions.

Jim Morgenthaler has been teaching photography in Athens for 40 years and has been involved with digital photography and imaging for the last 25 years. He has been teaching for the Professional and Personal Development program at the Georgia Center for Continuing Education since his retirement from the University of Georgia. At the Center he teaches Fundamentals of Photography and Photoshop for Photographers. During his work life at UGA, Jim produced educational video, film, computer graphics, and still photography.

I just set up a Poll to survey what types of software members are using to edit their images. Hit the "More" radio button at the top of the page to see "Polls".

Thank you in advance for answering.

I heard Jim speak recently on the subject of focus stacking. He is an excellent teacher and his pass out was amazingly easy to follow. I am confident that this will be a great learning experience for us all. Hoping to see lots of you there.
