Join us at our next program meeting on Monday, September 23 at 6:30 p.m. at Mokka and the Sunset Bar and Grill, 500 Monmouth Street, Newport, KY, where Kristine French, the Strategies Initiatives Manager for Vision 2015 will update our group on the Licking River Greenway and Trails project. Ms French will describe the latest on this ambitious Northern Kentucky effort to create an urban greenway from the mouth of the Licking River to the I-275 loop, including Covington, Taylor Mill, Wlder, and Newport.
The trails system seeks to connect neighborhoods and businesses on both sides of the Licking River, improving safety and increasing property values. Greenways, parks, rivers, bike and walking trails are among the top priorities of Northern Kentucky residents. We all want more ways to play outdoors and enjoy beautiful natural settings with family, friends, and neighbors. All are welcome. Place your order at the bar as you come in. Our monthly dinner meetings are in the 2nd floor meeting room. Mokka would like to know approximately how many are coming so please RSVP to Donna Becher at firstname.lastname@example.org by 9-18. For any questions or additional info. contact Kim Luber at email@example.com
