Northern UK Sigfox User Group - a group dedicated to connected device and #IoT developments using the ultra low power long range Sigfox wireless network - meets again June 20th, 2018.

This month is all about low cost, low power (which means non-GPS) geolocation for assets - and new hardware!

Evening plan:

6pm: Food and social

6:30pm - 8pm: Main event

Talk 1 - How Sigfox Geolocation works and how it enables very low cost (<$5), devices to relay their location while consuming very little battery.

Talk 2 - Introducing a new dual mode Sigfox development kit produced right here in region. Sergio, project lead hardware designer will join Jose by video call from Scotland to demo one of the first devices off the production line (in Blyth!), explain what it can do and the reasoning behind it.
