How did you hear about the Northshore Permaculture Meetup Group?

Saw it offered on Meetup, noticed Cassandra was a member.

What interests do you have that you would like to learn about and/or share with the group?

Anything that has to do with gardening! I also grow so many plants that I have started to sell them at reasonable cost much less than the nurseries so I can purchase more plants and organic fertilizers for my own yard! You can find more info on my web site at: (I taught technology to middle schoolers so this was a no brainer to set up my own web site and the kids helped me so it was lots of fun too!)

What type of experience and/or training have you had in permaculture design? (You don't need any to participate in the group)

No formal training, I belong to 2 garden clubs,, lots of experience in my yard over 35 years and since I was 5 on my Grandparent"s farm. We grew everything, chickens, rabbits, goats, pigs, geese, etc. My Grandfather would graft fruit trees and one pear tree had 3 kinds of pears on it. Grew grapes for home-made wine. I try to grow a lot of veggies and my make my own tomato sauce, pesto, and some different herbs like anise hyssop, garlic, garlic chives, and lots more heirlooms, reseeders. Presenter for garden clubs, social groups, NE Spring flower Show volunteer and presenter, and former teacher, now retired.

Organic gardener, trying to promote organic gardening to all gardeners. I have a veggie, herb, perennial gardens, annuals, containers gardens everywhere, and a small pond. Been gardening in my yard over 35 years, grew up on Grandparent's small farm.
