What we're about
This is a group for anyone who wants to walk for an hour or so on a fairly regular basis to get some fresh air, de-stress, un-do the physical effects of having a desk job, get/stay reasonably fit… and have someone to talk to while you're doing it. Newcomers and (other) people of all ages, shapes and fitness levels are welcome. Four-legged friends are welcome too. This is a FREE group, open to all!
Some of the venues where we will be walking are listed in the file posted on the More > Files pages. If you notice anything wrong or out-of-date in a location's write-up, please let me know so I can correct it.
I welcome your feedback and suggestions on how to make this a fun and vibrant group. If you have walking locations you can recommend, please let me know. If you have feedback, please let me know or leave a group review.
Lastly, some of the venues do charge an admission, which is generally at a reduced rate during off-season or if you are a member. I encourage you to support the fine organizations that care for these venues by becoming a member.
