We are lucky to have Wayne Wendel back for our November Program Meeting. He will be discussing his experiences and tips for bird photography. Wayne Wendel has been a photographer since 1967, starting with an Asahi Pentax Spotmatic and developing black and white film. He was a photographer for the Houston Police Department from 1977 to 2005. Wayne has continued photography in retirement with an emphasis on birds, landscapes, travel, architecture, and sports. In 2013 he helped establish the Bridgeland Photography Club. He had an exhibit at Alliance Francaise de Houston. Wayne has won photo contests with his photos of birds from our area, including the 2018 Spring Photo Contest for the Friends of Anahuac Refuge. Watching and photographing birds is an enjoyable activity. Please join us as we learn more from Wayne.
