Enjoy all of the events that Northwest Park has to offer. From The Country Fair, to Camping Under the Stars, to canoeing and hiking, this is your source to find out what exciting and educational programs are to come.

Northwest Park is a 473 acre conservation with over 12 miles of hiking trails along side the Rainbow Reservoir. We have a nature center, tobacco museum, a working farm with 20 live animals, and much more.

Full Harvest Moon Hike (Registration FULL)

*"Going" on Meetup does NOT confirm program attendance- Must preregister at the website below* Come out to Northwest Park from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM for a hike beneath the Full Harvest Moon as the Northwest Park Education Staff leads you on a 2-2.5 mile hike through forest and fields. Learn about the Harvest Moon and how it relates to the autumnal equinox. Fee for this program is $12/person (Windsor resident) $16/person (non-residents). Ages 14+. MUST preregister, space limited. Golden Hour Hike

Join our educators for a special hike on Oct. 31 to appreciate the beauty of nature and learn about nocturnal animals before the sun sets on All Hallow's Eve. This hike will be approximately 1.5-2 miles through Northwest Park forest & fields and is open to ages 8+. Fee for this program is $8/person (Windsor resident) $12/person (non-residents). Ages 8+. Full Blue Moon Hike

Learn why this moon is called a blue moon and hear about the creatures of the night that have been traditional symbols of Halloween.
