Tasting at Ponzi Vineyards' New Tasting Room

The new Ponzi Vineyards tasting room is supposed to be incredible. Let's head out to Beaverton to see the new tasting room and spend an afternoon tasting Oregon wine.

The seated tasting is $20, and a plate of assorted antipasti is available for an additional $15.

Well, the good news, those of us who showed up at the new winery/tasting room were in for a fantastic treat. The national sales manager gave us a great back-stage tour and we tasted great wines.
    - Some people didn't notice that the event was called "New Tasting Room" and chose to stay at their old location which is beyond strange since the Ponzi people simply should have handed them a map and said, "go here."
    - In all, only 3 (myself included) showed up which was unfortunate but like I said, they were very gracious and sharing with us who were there.
    - The oddest part I must say though...the organizer was no where to be seen.

I did notice the event was at the "New Tasting Room". However, the meetup specified the address of the old tasting room. Thus, it is not "beyond strange" that's where I went. I'd never been there before, so I did not know there was a difference. The bartender did eventually tell me about the new location, but it was too late to join you.

I did not organize it. In fact, I had t call the winery for the address of the new place. it was confusing. I agree

The new space is amazing and beautiful. Very lush surroundings and they have picnic grounds to bring in outside food. Designed by Allied Architecture Firm, I appreciated the way the buildings blended in with the surroundings.

I'm at the tasting room at 14665 SW Winery but no one else from the meetup is here. Did the time or location change?

I am looking forward to seeing the new facility. And meeting new people who have the appreciation for wine. See you there.
