Chile is the fifth largest exporter of wines in the world, and the ninth largest producer. The climate has been described as midway between that of California (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/California) and France. Most famous for their Carmenère, they also are known for more familiar wines traditionally considered strong holds of European makers like Syrah, Reisling, Sav Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon and even Pinot Noir.
The cost is $35. The wines we try will be available for purchase at a 10% discount and Keri offers frequent flyer discounts for multiple class purchases. She also owns C'est La Vie in Vancouver which means she makes delicious small bites customized for the wine of the evening!
