We are a niche group of social mountain bikers who ride a particular pace. Please read entire description.
Primarily an over 40 (and 50, etc) group, though it's more about compatible pace than age.
Enjoys descents and riding rocks and other trail irregularities. Not a beginner group. Typical members have been mountain biking for years.
We are slow up hill. See diagrams 1 & 2 below for clarification. Put another way, if pedaling up hill you can keep up with local groups like LMB level 4+ rides, DMB, and Jeffco MTB, then this group may test your patience on the climbs.
Safe and friendly, follows park / trail rules, good trail etiquette.
Self-sufficient riders. If separated from group each rider able to find their own way along route or back to their car. And while most riders will try to help if you have a bike problem, each rider needs to be able to deal with their own bike problems.
Note: For some reason a site called "Denver Matchmaker" has listed our Meetup group on their site. They did this without checking with us. We are not associated with them or with any other dating site. We are not a singles group. Have to wonder if Denver Matchmaker is a scam.
