Come meet curious and unconventional individuals to explore the unexpected side of libraries. Our events cater to 20- and 30-somethings in Boise. We’ll have book clubs, sure, but also speed friending, art projects, gaming nights, social gatherings, cultural experiences, and more. Have an idea for a meetup? Message us!

Whether you’re a beginner at crochet, expert at knitting, or just curious to learn, come to Knit and Crochet at Main. Join your fellow yarn lovers for coffee, cookies, and conversation every 4th Thursday from 4-6 at the Main Library downtown. Bring your in-progress projects or learn how to knit or crochet with our supplies.
Join the Middle of Nowhere Anime Club at the Library! at Collister! Each week we watch fresh and new Japanese animation, mostly subtitled. For more information, please visit www.meetup.com/monac-anime/. We are friendly to adults and teens.

Give your used clothing new life! Join our community clothing swap to reduce the cycle of textile waste and freshen up your wardrobe.
Here's how it works: drop off 1-20 gently used and clean items* (clothing, shoes, accessories) at the information desk on the 2nd floor of the Boise Main Library (715 S Capitol Blvd) by August 2nd, or bring your items with you on the day of the swap. Receive a coupon for the number of items you bring and exchange that coupon for the same number of new-to-you items on Saturday, August 3rd.
All sizes and genders are welcome!
*This is a clothing swap for adults and teens, so please do not bring any children's items.
