Annual Plant and Seed Swap

Nottingham Organic Gardeners presents the annual plant and seed swap

For the avid gardener, there are few events more eagerly anticipated than a bustling, plant and seed swap. After all, what could be better than sharing the abundance of your garden with fellow green thumbs while expanding your own green space at virtually no cost? A plant swap (or exchange), where everyday gardeners come together to trade all manner of plants, and seeds is a fantastic way of knowing what other local gardeners prefer to grow.

Many Gardeners over sow a lot of their plants to compensate for poor germination and end up with too many to plant out. This is a perfect way to swap those for something else!

We will accept plants that are healthy, decently mature, potted well, and clearly labeled. This helps to ensure that the plants are good enough to pass on to a new gardener.

As with all of our monthly meetings - it's free to paid members of Nottingham Organic Gardeners (yearly subscription of 10) but a small donation from non-members will help towards the cost of hiring the venue and organising the event.

I think we're ok for planning Greg but you are more than welcome to spread the word and our posters!
