Some of us went pot painting in February and it was so much fun! Plus, at this time of year, we can make Christmas presents or decorations!
The idea is that you choose from a huge range of unpainted and unglazed pottery. They have items such as mugs, plates, bowls, teapots, eggcups, jugs, butter dishes, as well as decorative pieces such as ornaments, statues, candlesticks etc. They also have a range of pottery Christmas tree decorations. :-)
Once you have chosen you are then let loose on a range of paints, stamps, sponge shapes, glitter glazes etc etc. You then leave the items for about a week to be fired in their kiln.
The cost varies, depending on what you choose to paint. The cost of paints, glazes and firing is all included.
There is also a cafe selling hot and cold drinks and snacks, including hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows. (See our photos below!)
