Well, I did say we'd only do the Cheapskates Lunch every two or three weeks but I've noticed this tinsel-free Indian feast on at the NAE for one week only ! So if there is enough interest I'll book a table. If not we'll definitely go in the New Year for their normal lunch.
Website details here (http://thenewartexchange.org.uk/celebrate-christmas-at-our-bollywood-marketplace/). It's £8.95 for three courses. The starter is vegetarian - a sharing platter consisting of pani puri, poppadums, chutneys, ice cold lemon and lime drink. The mains are a choice between mutter paneer and six lentil dhal for vegetarians or chicken and raita with salad. Desert is gulag jambi with kulfi ice cream.
Slightly later timing than usual as I have something on earlier in the day ;-)
The New Art Exchange is on Gregory Boulevard near the Forest tramstop. If you went to the Somalian meal a few weeks ago then it's right next door.
NAE have said they can cope with 12 of us so I am putting a 13 limit on the event on the assumption there might be someone who can't make it. If not I'm sure they'll be able to squeeze us all in !
