If you play Canasta, no matter whether it's been years or you've just recently learned, come along and play Canasta with us for the evening at Ludorati, a licensed dedicated games café, in the middle of Nottingham, that's really very nice, well worth the £2 an hour they charge. Players are teamed up on the night from whoever comes, with no preset groups. We start promptly at 7:30pm and usually play through until 9:30. If you don't play yet, but would like to learn in a friendly atmosphere, why not come along to our Wednesday evening teaching sessions. Same venue, same time.
On the last Tuesday of every month, come and meet friends, make new acquaintances and have a go at a traditional quiz all in the city centre of Nottingham. Teams are created on the night from whoever turns up, and it's a great way for new members to get into the swing. It’s a general knowledge quiz, created by our own members, and is held just for our meetup group. Not expecting you to be a brainbox, it's as much a social occasion as it is a quiz. We have the use of an upstairs room so we can sit easily as a group. From the main passageway, go into the first bar on the right. Inside there are stairs leading up to our room. Meet up at 8:00pm, for an 8:15 start. Team sizes & groupings according to numbers on the night. Enjoy!
This will be our usual Canasta evening for experienced players and learners. Ludorati is an excellent venue with reasonably priced beverages and plenty of gaming tables. It's always a good evening with a lovely atmosphere so come along and play with us.
