What novels have you enjoyed reading lately?

The Sense of an Ending by Julian Barnes, Steppenwolf by Herman Hesse

Please recommend a novel for our group to discuss. Why do you suggest this book?

I'd like to discuss a Richard Bausch novel. I read a "selected" short collection by the author &was blown away.

What interests you about our group, and what do you hope it will become?

This is the first "meet up" I've RSVP-ed for! I was hooked by the fact that many of you are writers as well as readers. I would like to talk craft.

Howdy. I write non-fiction that could also be read as fiction. I'd say my biggest living influence is Jo Ann Beard, who was also my thesis advisor.
