This meetup will be our Christmas potluck and gift exchange.  Please bring a holiday food or beverage item to share.  The organizers will provide cups, plates, silverware, napkins, and ice.  For the gift exchange, please bring a wrapped book from your personal library (a used book, it is not expected that you buy a new one).  The only rule is that the book cannot be one we have read in book club! (There is a list of the books we have read on the "More" tab above, under "Files").  We will exchange the books "white elephant" style (everyone gets a number and gets to choose a wrapped book, or steal an already unwrapped book, in numerical order).

We also like to donate to a worthy cause at Christmas.  This year we have again chosen Reece's Rainbow, an adoption agency for children with Down syndrome and other special needs.  Please see the post "Holiday Charity 2016" on the message board for further details and a link to the site.  Donations are voluntary and private.

This is our last meetup of the year.  We will start again in January.  Next year's books will be published on December 10.
