SCHEDULE

Between 6:30 and 6:00 pm - Doors open:

The organizers usually arrive 15 to 30 minutes before the meet-up to set things up. If you like, you can hang out and talk to the other early birds. Networking is encouraged.

7:00 pm - Official start:

Express introduction round

This is an essential part of the meet-up. Please try to arrive on time!

7:15 pm - Class:

CuBase Crash Course with Nicolas Nami

Experienced producer and Nicolas Nami will show us how to produce Music in the popular DAW CuBase.

10:00 pm - Official End (we may go longer)

Please take out your trash and leave the room.

You can bring your own light snacks and non-alcoholic beverages.

Avoid spills and make sure, that you do not leave crumbs or trash.

LOCATION

This class will take place at Nami's private studio. Please pay attention to the local parking regulations.

Most importantly, bring a friendly and positive attitude! We encourage you to ask meaningful questions, heckling of any sort won't be tolerated.

ABOUT THE GROUP

The OC EMP (Orange County Electronic Music Producers) meet-up group is part of the EMPA (Electronic Music Producers Association), a non-profit organization focusing on helping music producers of all skill levels to connect and improve their skills. We meet to network and maintain contacts as well as to exchange knowledge and help each other to improve our music. You will meet a lot of talented individuals. Many of them are open for collaborations.
