Our speaker will be Robert Richert, artist, writer, and Vietnam War veteran.

Using PowerPoint, Robert Richert will focus his presentation upon the creation stories and flood story in Genesis, and the Jesus story depicted in the 4 Gospels. He will show that much of this material is not original. Rather, these stories are rooted in earlier sources.

H.L Mencken once said, "One good horse laugh is worth a thousand syllogisms." Bob's otherwise serious presentation will include an entertaining skit performed by two of his friends, plus keep an eye out for slides with humorous images.
Many years ago and through a friend, Robert Richter met Dr. Gerald La Rue, who taught Biblical Studies at USC. Upon attending the professor's lectures and reading his materials, Bob became interested in the subject of Biblical scholarship. He has read three college textbooks on the subject, as well as many other books and articles.

Discussion (Q&A) will follow the presentation
