Bring a chair for some stargazing! McKinney Roughs will also have someone there with a telescope.
You can park in the McKinney Roughs lot and look for the solar lighted trail through the woods.
McKinney Roughs is at 1884 SH 71 West, Cedar Creek, TX 78612. (If you were coming from the airport, it is about 13 miles east and the entrance will be on the left. Please note it is at McKinney Roughs LCRA park, not the State Park.)

Join other night-sky revelers for a chance to marvel at the beauty of the planets and be awed by our Earth's place in the galaxy. The wonders of the universe will come to life when viewed through our Dobsonian telescopes. Our astronomer will tell stories about the constellations and point out other wonders as they appear. Bring lawn chairs and blankets for comfort. Fun for the whole family!

McKinney Roughs is located on Hwy[masked] miles east of Austin-Bergstrom International Airport on the westbound side. The facility's entrance is 8.4 miles west of Bastrop.
