More, official, details:
"Join the Park District of La Grange as we kick off he holiday season with an Old-Fashioned Tree Lighting in Waiola Park on Tuesday, December 6th from 6-7:30 p.m. This event will feature holiday entertainment, a special visitor from the North Pole and live reindeer. This good old-fashioned tree lighting will put you in the holiday spirit. Warm up with some cookies and hot cocoa as you and your family enjoy the wonderful tree decorations. We will also be collecting new and gently used winter clothes and accessories that will be donated to local charities. Get your family, friends, or a group together and purchase a holiday tree to decorate. Stop by the Recreation Center to register and pick up the tree decorations guidelines. The tree cost is $60 and the deadline to purchase a tree is Monday, November 21st. Each tree includes lights and you can decorate your tree anytime after Thursday, December 1st."
