Luigi and I are from a small temple 20 minutes south of LAX and have been traveling throughout Southern California to give Dharma talks and plant seeds of compassion. Along the way, we became friends with like-minded people in LA who are from Northern California and inspired us to travel up and create meetups on Buddhism to expand our circle of Dharma friends.
So here we are planning our first meetup in Oakland. Feel free to suggest other times and places to meet for our upcoming meetups. Why don’t we get something to eat or drink from this cafe to contribute to their business while learning the Dharma together? If you’re interested in learning how and why Buddhism empowers us but have a schedule conflict, please let me know.
Our meetups are free to attend but we appreciate any amount of donation you offer to help us sustain our activities of reaching out to various communities in the USA and building the foundation for peace, understanding, and fulfilling lives. In Buddhism, donations are not measured by the amount, but by your desire to contribute to a cause greater than ourselves.
No one needs to feel left out, fall into despair, or feel at a loss if there's any meaning to the repetition of our activities day in, day out. Buddha's guidance empowers us to see the light and go about our daily activities with more hope, confidence, and compassion for one and all (not only self-care, and not only caring for others. But caring for oneself as well as others at the same time).
On most Saturdays 3 PM to 4 PM, we offer online Dharma talks. Just ask me about how to join.

Have a wonderful week everyone until we meet in Northern California!
