Meditation for beginners.
This Meetup is for people who are interested in meditation but aren’t sure how to go about it. Or perhaps you’ve tried meditation but haven’t been able to make the practice stick. Or perhaps you are curious, but not sure it’s for you.
At this gathering, we will discuss the benefits of meditation, meditation postures, and some different types of meditation.
After some discussion, we will spend some time practicing different types of mindfulness meditation.
If you have a meditation pillow, feel free to bring it, and wear some comfortable clothes.
Note* I am NOT a meditation teacher by trade, but I have been meditating for more than 15 years and have been exposed to and have practiced several different modes.
For those of you that attended this meetup previously, this will be the same class as before!
