Please tell us about your work, like whether you are in school or college or about your job, career, or business.

I'm semi-retired. I've been a self-esteem coach on the Internet. I'm now into investing, but I'm just surveying the different investing possibilities for now.

Please tell us about yourself, like whether you are married or have children.

Nope, I'm unmarried and no kids (alas). I live with a devoted woman, but we both know I'll eventually seek and find someone more intellectually compatible.

Please tell us about your interests, like what you like to do in your spare time or for relaxation or vacation.

I am interested in psychology, philosophy, improvising classical piano, hifi equipment, and loving relationships.

What Mike R. is saying about this Meetup Group

The Meetup Group was a very friendly bunch of folks. Here I was, an outsider coming briefly from Los Angeles. I was made to feel at home. I left feeling I had begun some serious friendships that might endure. It was a good feeling. I can envision my returning to Dallas sometime just to visit with my newfound friends:)
