Let's explore Gelatin Printing!
Gelatin printing is a printing method that allows for capturing both positive and negative prints off of a slice of gelatin (think stiff jello or knox blocks). Using found objects, we'll be able to create prints with interesting depth and textures.
This class can be a bit messy, please dress appropriately and we'll have aprons available. This class is kid friendly, however younger participants must also have a parent/guardian in attendance at all times.
Participants are encouraged to bring flat, thin "found items" that they don't mind getting paint on. Things like feathers, leaves, paper shapes, bits of fabric - things with interesting textures.
Tickets for the class are $30 - you will be able to make multiple prints during the class and go home with your gelatin tablet for more printing fun at home.
