Beginning Copper Foil Stained Glass Class
Beginning Copper Foil Stained Glass Class! Wednesdays, 6:15-9 pm Beginning August 22nd - completing on September 19th This is the introductory course in stained glass working. Your finished product will be a panel approximately 10" x16" or 13” in diameter, depending on the pattern you choose. Copper foil is the traditional method used for these panels, as well as sun-catchers, jewelry boxes, lamp-shades, holiday tree ornaments and many other endless possibilities. You will learn all the steps used in completing these panels. The steps include safety, color/design, cutting, grinding and fitting glass, soldering, cleaning, polishing and applying hooks for hanging. This class is one session a week for (5) weeks. Class fee includes solder, flux, metal frame and chain for hanging your panel and use of all tools needed to complete the project. A variety of glass is available for you to purchase at below market price, or you can use glass purchased elsewhere. This is the prerequisite class for most other glass classes. Class size is kept small and preregistration with payment is required. Please call with your credit card information, or make payment directly to my business account using Zelle Quick Pay and my phone number [masked]), or set a time to come and pay in person. At that time, I will also need your phone # and the best email address to contact you. I look forward to sharing my love of glass with you as you create a beautiful panel that might be the first of many for you!

What we're about

This is a group for people who want to discover more of who they are through meditation, reading, movies and sharing fun experiences. We call it Meditation in Life because our experience tells us that simply closing our eyes to meditate is not enough! We play with bringing the Stillness into our everyday events and tasks.
Come and meditate with us on Tuesday evenings, or read "A Way of Mastery" with us on Thursday mornings, or watch films on spirituality, science and meditation on Friday evenings! Other activities will undoubtedly present themselves as this evolves!
