*ONE SPOT LEFT - PLEASE message organizer for payment details* Learn to Stand Up Paddle (SUP) in the calm waters of Simon’s Town Quays, ideal for beginners to find their feet and practise their technique in the protected basin. The Penguin SUP Experience is an amazing opportunity to experience the thrill of being out on the open ocean, while learning the art of stand up paddleboarding and seeing penguins, seals and array of birdlife in their natural environment. Professional instructors will first take you through the basic technical aspects of paddling and safety on dry land. Then out onto the ocean we go. The sea is usually very calm in the protected bay of Sea Forth. This lends itself to easy learning, before heading off to see the penguins at Boulders. After a quick dip in the shallows, we take you around Arc Rock to the seals and Duiker birds before returning an hour later to a second, small colony of penguins closer to Sea Forth beach. If the wind happens to be blowing too strong for single SUP’s, we take you out on our Giant 6-man SUP’s, with a skipper in attendance. This is a never to be forgotten, bucket list item and not to be missed. WHAT TO BRING: COSTUME, TOWEL, T-SHIRT, A HAT & WARM CLOTHES We will be doing the SUP Penguin tour R420pp. NO EXPERIENCE IS NEEDED but a moderate level of fitness is required. Tours are 1hr30 with a crash course in Stand Up Paddling then a trip passed Simon’s Towns popular penguin beaches. For safety reasons tours are weather dependent.
