Join us for our next "No Fear!" open mic on Friday the 13th of November 2020. This event is free and will begin at 6:45 p.m. and end at 8:30, in the downstairs "Meeting Room" at the Lakewood Main Library, 15425 Detroit Avenue. There's free parking behind the library. Additional street parking is also nearby on Mars and Arthur Aves.

Members may bring up to two guests. VERY IMPORTANT: Since space is limited for this event, you must reserve online for you and your guests to attend, whether you plan on being at the "mic" or not.

Our Friday the 13th "No Fear!" events are geared toward presenting unique, seasoned and new voices. We especially encourage emerging poets and writers to break out by sharing their work publicly, perhaps for the first time! If you've never read before an audience before, this is your time! So just do it. Read, sing or perform your stuff. You WILL survive and it'll be a special time for all of us!

When you RSVP, let me know if you'd like some time to read your poetry or short prose, or to perform.

Do not bring beverages (per library policy). I will provide chilled, bottled water for everyone.
